_____Made during a desk job graveyard-shift I held during college. I'd taken some photographs of mine from various places and turned them into flat-color layers, composing this out of them. It had both personal and cultural meaning to me at the time - and it remains a criticism of the pre-packaged and material-heavy culture that is quickly finding itself grinding to a halt. The microwave-specific metaphor was an inspiration from Pitschshifter's song, Microwaved - about the same subject matter. I had recently developed my DAH monogram, but was still using the "Hitodama" moniker from high-school. Of note - the sky in the background is actually the inside of a filthy microwave. Now as for whose microwave that was... I have no idea. None whatsover.
