_____A follow-up to the previous year's poster. This time around I wanted to take a more impressionistic approach, and definitely make color a big player in the design. I remembered some of the bold, stark posters I'd seen in my design history classes, and wanted to try something similar. I wanted to invoke the feeling of a 70's Jazz den, with just a touch of Halloween in the mix to pay tribute to Cody's birthday. Mouse-over for a detail.

By the way, Cody is a fantastic cello player - and currently plays an electric version of that instrument in the refreshingly lyric-less metal band, Ocoai. Check them out!
